Gender Inclusive Housing
We are pleased to offer Gender-Inclusive Housing (GIH) to our new and returning students. Gender-Inclusive Housing means that, in select spaces, students from all gender identities and expressions may choose to live together.
SIGN-UP FOR GENDER INCLUSIVE HOUSING
MSU has Gender-Inclusive Housing floors in several suite-style halls across campus. Students will be able to indicate they want to live in a Gender Inclusive Housing space when going through the housing selection or assignment process.

Winter Break Housing and Dining
If you’re not planning to stay on campus during winter break, please plan to leave your residence hall by 8 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025.
The residence halls will reopen for the spring semester on Saturday, January 10, 2026, and service centers will return to full operations on Sunday, January 11 at 8 a.m.
