The Transgender Residential Experience provides a community which centers the experiences, needs, perspectives, and joy of transgender and gender non-conforming communities, while creating experiences that foster healing, community building, and intercultural exploration.

We recognize the importance of providing housing options that cater to the diverse needs of our student population. T-REx aims to create a space where trans and gender non-conforming students can feel comfortable expressing themselves freely while living in a supportive community.  

For the 2025-26 academic year, transfer students are exempt from the two-year live-on requirement and are not required to reside on campus.

For those interested in on-campus housing, the Housing Request Form is now available in My Housing. We will house as many students as available space allows.

We're hiring Intercultural Aides (ICAs)! ICAs serve collaboratively alongside resident assistants (RAs). Both contribute to building community on the floor and in a residence hall, yet ICAs place their focus on ensuring that the communities being built are both inclusive and vibrant.
