This position’s primary responsibility is to support and assist the Assistant Director for Staff Recruitment, Selection, and Training regarding all functions of recruitment, selection, training, and staff discipline within Residence Education and Housing Services (REHS). Depending on the needs/priorities of the department, other duties may also be assigned.
Position Dates: August 1 – May 15 (Standard MSU Fall and Spring Graduate Assistant timeframe, with training period that begins two weeks prior to the GA start date.)
The Assistant Community Director (ACD) position is a half-time, nine-month live-in graduate assistantship within the Department of Residence Education and Housing Services. Assistant Community Directors are responsible for developing living learning environments coinciding with the mission and goals of Michigan State University and Residence Education and Housing Services.

Cardio fitness rooms are available to residents at no additional cost! These rooms have cardio equipment like treadmills and ellipticals, as well as strength equipment and hand weights (free weights are only in IM buildings). Residents should use equipment properly, following all posted directions, and use equipment at their own risk.
