Student Involvement and Leadership

Student Involvement and Leadership

It’s no secret that Michigan State University is a huge place. That’s why it’s a great idea to develop your community of friends and people you can rely on. One of the best ways to build these relationships is by joining a club or organization here on campus, and you can do this without needing to leave your neighborhood! These student body organizations provide opportunities to develop your leadership skills and prepare you for life beyond college.

Living-learning Communities and Residential Colleges

Living-learning Communities and Residential Colleges

Michigan State University's living-learning, academic and special interest programs allow students who share similar academic interests or interests in multi-cultural living experiences to live together in a designated residence hall or on a particular residence hall floor.

Many of the living-learning options allow students to attend class with the same group of peers in their residence hall, which enhances friendships and networking and facilitates ease of gatherings and study time.
