Thanksgiving Break

As Thanksgiving Break approaches, we want to remind students that residence halls will remain open throughout the break. All residents are welcome to stay from Wednesday, November 26 through Sunday, November 30 at no additional cost. There is no need to notify staff whether you plan to leave or stay, you're welcome either way!

To help maintain a safe living environment for residents staying on campus during the break period, all students will need to use their MSU IDs to access their residence hall. MSU IDs will only grant access to the residence hall in which the resident lives and to the hall with the open service center.

Students in need of assistance during the Thanksgiving break can seek help from the primary service center desks in each residence hall between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Owen will remain open 24/7. The primary service center information for each residence hall is available at liveon.msu.edu/servicecenters

Resident Assistants will also be available during Thanksgiving weekend. Students can call the RA on Duty phone between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. to get assistance while the primary service centers are closed. The RA duty phone number for each residence hall is posted in its respective building.
