Transgender Residential Experience

The Transgender Residential Experience, or TREx, is a dedicated living space designed specifically for transgender and non-binary students who seek an inclusive and affirming housing environment. This option allows students to share a double room in South Neighborhood. providing an opportunity for mutual support, understanding, and community-building.

We recognize the importance of providing housing options that cater to the diverse needs of our student population. TREx aims to create a space where transgender and non-binary students can feel comfortable expressing themselves freely while living in a supportive community.

If you are interested in applying to live in the TREx community for your second year, you can now apply in your My Housing account.

If you have any questions or need further information about the TREx community or the application process, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Housing Assignments Office at 517-884-5483 or liveon.msu.edu. You can also reach out to the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center at 517-353-9520 or by email at gscc@msu.edu
