Transgender Residential Experience

The Transgender Residential Experience, or T-REx, is a dedicated living space designed specifically for trans, nonbinary, and gender diverse students who seek an inclusive and affirming housing environment. This option allows students to share a double room in South Neighborhood. providing an opportunity for mutual support, understanding, and community-building.

We recognize the importance of providing housing options that cater to the diverse needs of our student population. T-REx aims to create a space where trans and gender non-conforming students can feel comfortable expressing themselves freely while living in a supportive community.

If you are interested in living in the T-REx community, you can apply in your My Housing account.

If you have any questions or need further information about the T-REx community or the application process, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Housing Assignments Office at 517-884-5483. You can also reach out to the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center at 517-353-9520 or by email at gscc@msu.edu
