Building Connections for Conversations that Matter
We are a grassroots learning and living experience within MSU’s residence halls, open to all students, cultivating care and deepening capacity for engagement in community. Our program is a home for countless students, whose shared passion for community building and critical conversations aspire to co-create a culture of belonging, reciprocity, and humanity.
MRULE/ICA’s mission of building vibrant communities is lived out through students who create and nurture relationships across difference. These relationships form through initiative, authenticity, mutual care, and shared experiences.
One of the ways relationships are built and cared for is through community dialogues known as MRULE Roundtable Discussions (RTDs). Designed and facilitated by students themselves, RTDs are a weekly heartbeat of the program. These dialogues break down barriers to belonging through practices rooted in connection, curiosity, care, and collective consciousness.
Any student, on campus or off, is welcome to attend discussions or connect with an ICA to explore potential friendships, conversations and experiences that await them.
