2026-27 On-Campus Housing Sign-Up for Second Year+ Students

Current on-campus residents in their second year or beyond who are interested in an on-campus apartment at University Village or 1855 Place, a residence hall apartment, single room in Owen Hall, or a double room in select residence halls will complete the 2nd Year+ Application in their My Housing account. The application will be open October 7 through October 23, 2025.

We recognize the high demand for on-campus apartments and single rooms, and unfortunately, not all upper-level students who apply will be able to secure their desired space.

Application Process

  • To be considered, you must submit the Second Year+ Application once it becomes available. After the application period closes, the Housing Assignments Office will assign 24-hour selection windows to eligible students based on class standing.
  • Receiving a selection window does not guarantee a space on campus in 2026-27. The sign-up period may close before all selection windows are completed due to availability.

Available Housing Options

Spaces available for selection include:

  • 1855 Place
  • University Village
  • Singles in Owen Hall
  • Double rooms in select residence halls across campus

Please be aware that being granted a sign-up time does not guarantee you a spot in an on-campus apartment or room. We currently have more students interested in on-campus housing than available spaces, and space availability can change depending on the size of roommate groups.

The sign-up period might close before your scheduled time if all spaces are filled.

Current 1855 Place and University Village Residents

If you are currently living in 1855 Place, University Village Apartments, or Family Housing and wish to remain in your space for 2026–27, you must also submit the Second Year+ Housing Application to be eligible for renewal.

Apartment retention will be open October 21 through October 23.

Off-Campus Housing Options and Resources

Students in their second year and beyond that wish to live off campus next year can do so without completing a housing exception form. The following are off-campus housing resources:
