For the 2024-25 academic year, transfer students are exempt from the two-year live-on requirement and are not required to reside on campus.
However, for those interested in on-campus housing, a Housing Request Form is now open in your My Housing account. The form allows you to share housing and roommate matching preferences.
We plan to accommodate as many students as space permits and will begin offering spaces in spring 2024.
Please note that completing the request form does not guarantee housing, and while we will do our best to honor your chosen preferences, assignments are based upon available space. Most housing offers will be for double rooms.
Transfer students are also welcome to explore off-campus housing options through MSU's Off-Campus Housing website. Alongside housing listings, the website provides valuable resources and tips for navigating lease agreements and adjusting to life in the Greater East Lansing community.
