These undergraduate leadership roles offer unique opportunities to support fellow students, foster inclusive environments, and grow personally and professionally.
Resident Assistants are live-in student team members in the REHS. They help facilitate exceptional and equitable community experiences, one connection at a time. RAs support students in a particular residential area by promoting academic achievement through referrals to campus resources, responding to emergencies, and engaging residents through a variety of strategies that build inclusive and supportive communities.
Intercultural Aides serve collaboratively alongside RAs, with a focus on ensuring that the communities being built are both inclusive and vibrant. ICAs work hard to engage residents in the process of crossing differences. They do this through a series of Engaged Learning Opportunities, including weekly roundtable discussions, acts of service in local communities, social events, small-group activities, purposeful interactions with residents, and partnerships with other campus leaders.

RA APPLICATION OFFICE HOURS
New this fall, the Resident Assistant Recruitment, Selection and Training team are hosting 15-minute 1 on 1s throughout the duration of the application being open. This is an opportunity for candidates to meet with a Residence Education staff member, and ensure their experience is translated in their application essay questions. Candidates are also welcome to ask staff questions they have about the RA role or other RA application related needs.

RA & ICA INFORMATION SESSIONS
Throughout October and November, the RA Recruitment, Selection and Training team will be hosting a series of "RSL Info Session Nights" where students interested in the RA and/or ICA role can learn more about the positions and ask questions that they may have. Students can attend any of the sessions – you do not only need to attend the session in your own Neighborhood!

2027 MOCK INTERVIEWS
Candidates who are selected to join us for an interview will be eligible for a mock interview process where candidates will meet with REHS staff members, connect with current RA's and prepare for their upcoming RA interview. Additional information about Mock Interviews will be shared directly with candidates upon receiving an invite to interview for the RA role.
