During Summer Semester 2019, MSU Residence Education and Housing Services is excited to offer housing free of charges for returning residents.
This offer is exclusively for current traditional residence hall residents enrolled in MSU summer classes who have also signed up to live in a residence hall during Fall Semester 2019. In addition, students interested must purchase an unlimited dining plan for the summer sessions they live with us.
This summer contract is available for students attending either summer session(s). This year, the dates for summer sessions are:
- First Session: May 6 - June 28
- Second Session: June 29 – August 15
Students will be able to sign up for summer courses by appointment starting March 11. Open enrollment for all students begins March 23.
This year, those taking advantage of the summer housing offer will be housed in Bailey Hall in Brody Neighborhood. Bailey Hall is nearby the Brody Engagement Center and the Brody Square dining hall, offering students close proximity to important resources.
Current residents that have a Fall 2019 housing contract signed by April 19 will be able to sign up for this free summer housing offer through their My Housing account starting on or after March 11. Spaces are limited and will be available first come, first served, so students interested should keep these dates in mind. Students must remain committed to their Fall 2019 contract to avoid paying summer housing fees.
Students should consider this summer housing offer as they begin to make plans for summer course schedule. This is a great opportunity for convenient, affordable housing for students taking summer classes at MSU.
