Select Your Space for 2020-21
Online returning student sign-up for 2020-21 housing will be open from October 16 through April 17. Before you finalize your selection, here are some steps you can take to ensure you find the on-campus space that is best for you.
Explore Your Options
Before deciding on a space, view video tours of the MSU neighborhoods: Brody, East, North, River Trail and South. Each neighborhood has unique features, so take the time to decide which is best for you and your lifestyle. You also can view virtual room tours.
Find Your Roommate Code
In your My Housing account, there is an option to view your roommate code. This link will take you to a page where you can either create a roommate code or view your existing code. This code can be used to pull in a friend to be your roommate for the 2020-21 year.
Select a Dining Plan
You'll need to select a dining plan when signing up for housing. Check to see what is included in each dining plan by looking at the housing rates page.
Select Your Housing
Finally, it's time to select your housing. Log in to your My Housing account. At the top of your dashboard, there is an alert link to sign up for a space on campus for the 2020-21 academic year. The system will then walk you through the sign-up process.
