Employment

With tons of job options located right on campus, we make it easy for you to make the grade and make a buck. Jobs provide students with a needed balance for time management and the social skills required for our fast-paced world. Students working part-time have a higher GPA than non-working students. Entry level student employees can earn more than $3,000 per year working only 15 hours per week. Advanced level student employees can earn more than $8,000 per year!
MSU students can work up to 29 hours per week during the academic year, with the opportunity for full-time employment during holiday and semester breaks. International students are limited to 20 hours per week during the school year. Students need to have a photo ID, such as a student ID, and original Social Security card in order to work anywhere on campus.
