On-Campus Safety

REHS staff are concerned about the physical and mental health and safety of our students. REHS, in coordination with MSU Police and Counseling & Psychiatry Services (CAPS), works to provide a safe and healthy living environment for our residents.

Dining

Campus Dining Services offers a diverse range of food that caters to all dietary restrictions. In addition to having a plethora of food options, MSU Dining offers employment for students on campus.

REHS is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive and safe environment for all Spartans living in our on-campus residential housing community.

Sustainability at MSU: Be Spartan Green

Environmental stewardship initiatives within the Division of Student Life and Engagement are part of MSU's larger program and are focused on increasing awareness and driving behavior change with the ultimate goals of reducing waste, greenhouse emissions and energy consumption, and conserving water.

Fitness

Each neighborhood has cardio rooms available to residents. There also are weekly fitness classes offered throughout campus.

Recreational Sports and Fitness Services 

Recreational Sports and Fitness Services offers fitness centers at IM West and IM East for weight training and cardio workouts, group exercise classes, plus indoor pools, this is all covered in students' Rec Sports Passport to well-being membership. There are also basketball, volleyball and racquetball courts plus an indoor track for open recreation time. The Sailing Center offers lessons and kayak, canoe and stand-up paddleboard rentals.

Spartan Cash

Spartan Cash is MSU's official debit plan for students, faculty and staff. It is a safe, quick and easy way to purchase textbooks, on- and off-campus dining, sports and entertainment, prescriptions and health services and much more! if you have an MSU ID card, you already have a Spartan Cash account. The account is activated once a deposit is made.

Working on campus is a great way to build relationships with your fellow Spartans, making our large campus feel like a small community. Student Involvement 

When you live on at MSU you have a variety of choices when it comes to getting involved on campus. From the University Activities Board to the Residence Halls Association, each group vary in the levels of commitment and involvement opportunities which allows students to determine their own path for how they want to connect within their community and on campus.
