Thanksgiving Break 2020

As Thanksgiving break approaches, we want to remind students currently occupied residence halls are open over the Thanksgiving break. Students who did not elect to take advantage of the Fall 2020 Housing Credit are welcome to stay from Wednesday, November 25 through Sunday, November 29 with no extra charge to their housing bill.

To promote a safe living environment for residents staying on campus during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, all students will need to use their MSU IDs to access their residence hall. Student IDs will only grant access to the residence hall in which the resident lives, to the hall with the open service center for their neighborhood, and to halls with open dining operations. For information about when Sparty’s and Sparty’s Market will be open during Thanksgiving break, students can visit Eat at State.

All students traveling are strongly encouraged to follow the Holiday Safety for Colleges and Universities guidelines recommended by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Due to limited lab capacity, students are urged to sign up as soon as possible. Read President Stanley’s full message.

Students feeling ill or who have tested positive for COVID-19 and have questions should contact MSU's COVID-19 Triage Hotline at 855-958-2678 or their primary health care provider. Call 911 for any medical emergencies.
