Take Advantage Of Your Resources
Start your semester off on the right foot with some help from the MSU Engagement Centers. Located in every neighborhood, engagement centers provide the academic, health and wellness, and intercultural support needed for a successful journey at MSU. The best part is, these services are FREE to students!
With tutoring in almost every area of your studies, there is no choice but to succeed at MSU. Academic advising and career counseling are available for you to plan for the future. And if you are having tech problems, there is a ITS Computer Help Desk service to assist you.
Health & Wellness Support
Student health clinics are available to help you through this pesky cold and flu season. You can come to these extensions of the Olin Health Center for minor injuries or illnesses, or for preventative services like vaccines. There are also group fitness classes like yoga and Zumba to help you stay fit while living on! These classes are all free for students who live on campus, as a part of the Live On & Be Fit program!
You can find an array of intercultural groups to join, like Black Caucuses, LGBT Caucuses, and M-RULE (Multi-Racial Unity Living Experience). Each group provides support in its areas, and hosts events to celebrate diversity at MSU.
You can find all the service hours for your neighborhood’s engagement center at http://neighborhoods.msu.edu.
