Can I sign up for a room if it is only me?

Every apartment in University Village has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  Each bedroom is considered a separate housing contract with Michigan State University.  Depending on availability you can sign up on your own or with 1, 2 or 3 other friends.

Can I take a tour of University Village?

If you visit and click on Virtual Tours (right hand side of page) and scroll over to University Village virtual tour, it will show an apartment via a virtual tour.

How can I (or my friends and I) get a spot a University Village?

Log on early during sign up!   Have the information necessary, including names and roommate codes. The system will show what is available depending on the number of people that you are wanting to live with or if you are wanting to live in one bedroom and sign up on your own.

How can residents sign up to live together?

Residents can sign up as individuals or with 1, 2, or 3 other roommates.  During sign up it will be necessary for roommates to know the names and roommate codes of the other residents who they wish to share an apartment with.

How much is the Rent at University Village?

The rent for 2018-19 is $733 a month. Each apartment has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and each bedroom is considered a separate Housing Contract.

What appliances are included in the apartment?

Refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher are all standard in the apartments. Washers and Dryers are available Free of charge with a student I.D. in each of the buildings on the 2nd floor.

What furniture is included in University Village apartments?

In the Bedrooms there is a full size bed that is raised higher above the ground and a small dresser that fits under the bed to offer more space.  There is also a desk and chair.  

In the Living/Dining Room; a sofa, two living room chairs, two stools at the kitchen counter, and a dining room table and four chairs are all included.

What is included in the Rent?

All Utilities, including an expanded cable television line up are included with the rent. There are no landline phones available at University Village Apartments.
